A reason to invest in a fractional jet: meatloaf.
In the current issue of Forbes magazine is a special advertising section devoted to private jet travel. It’s called “The Enlightened Business Traveler.” On just the second page, a seven-word phrase clearly and convincingly reminded me of arguably one of the best arguments for fractional jet ownership in the context of business.The phrase, in reference to two brothers who rely heavily on their Hawker 850 to visit clients in small towns around the country, was simply: “…making it home in time for dinner.”
The speed, flexibility and convenience of private jets means for many of those who rely on them that they can spend more time with family. Isn’t that what we all want? Is there really any way to put a value on being able to sit down and eat dinner with your family? Or to be able to tuck your kids into bed and read them a story? I don’t think so. Please pass the carrots.
