NetJets promotes marketing veteran.
NetJet’s announced today that Steve Zacks has been promoted to lead the company’s marketing efforts as executive vice president and chief marketing officer.Zacks has been with NetJets, a Berkshire Hathaway company, for seven years, with a focus on partnership building. In his new role, Zacks will lead all aspects of marketing including advertising, public relations and interactive. Prior to joining NetJets, Zacks held various marketing roles with several highly regarded marketers including PepsiCo and American Express.
This move further underscores the increasingly competitive landscape of the fractional jet market. Look for more high-profile execs with blue chip marketing backgrounds to assume similar positions at the other providers.
