FlexJet Still Tops in Maintenance
As I look at all of the options that are available in fractional jet ownership, I’ve been focusing mainly on questions of pricing, service area and quality of service. But there’s an aspect of service that I really hadn’t been thinking of too much until I was reminded by this piece on jet maintenance.
Bombardier Flexjet has been awarded its 8th FAA Diamond Award for maintenance training. Now there are two very boring words, “maintenance” and “training.” But I think everyone agrees that taking care of the plane is probably the most important thing you want out of a fractional ownership company.
I’ve taken into consideration the level of quality (experience) of the pilots, but until now haven’t done the same due diligence with plane maintenance. But it’s one of those behind-the-scenes services that I want to make sure no one is skimping on.
